Logistics Coordinator (Logistics Operations Specialist)
Location: Valley, NE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay-25-27/hr
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation and shipment execution activities. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods while providing exceptional service to internal teams, carriers, and customers.
As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will manage transportation orders, coordinate shipments, and help resolve logistics challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily transportation operations, including scheduling, tracking, and tracing shipments
- Communicate shipment status updates to internal teams, customers, and carriers
- Coordinate with manufacturing sites, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth transportation flow
- Assemble and process shipping documents (packing lists, bills of lading, customs documentation)
- Follow up with carriers and internal departments to confirm pick-up, delivery details, and product readiness
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment records and documentation
- Partner with carrier coordination teams to generate Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other tools effectively
- Run and review shipment reports, including occasional auditing for accuracy
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve transportation issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and internal partners
Additional Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service with professionalism and urgency
- Understand and meet customer service expectations and performance goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally to track shipments and resolve discrepancies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field)
- 1–3+ years of logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with TMS or logistics platforms is a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy

This is a Contract position based out of Valley, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
