We are seeking an experienced, senior-level professional with a robust background in clinical development, specifically within the clinical study lifecycle and clinical data lifecycle, to spearhead data governance initiatives. This role involves managing business glossaries, data catalogs, metadata management, data lineage, master and reference data management, data quality, data policies, and data sharing, among other responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, the ability to analyze clinical processes and data, and experience in engaging and influencing senior-level leaders. Proficiency in preparing and presenting high-quality presentations and leading workshops is essential. We are looking for a proactive, self-driven team player to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Support biostatisticians, translational scientists, researchers, and other clinical data analysts in the governance process for accessing clinical data.
- Drive data stewardship for clinical studies, sites, investigators, and products.
- Collaborate with business functions to define data definitions, standards, and glossaries.
- Maintain business glossaries and catalogs in Collibra for business functions.
- Promote the adoption of governed data assets.
- Create and deliver high-quality documentation and presentations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably related to life sciences.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical biotech.
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) for critical clinical entities.
- Proficiency in data sharing for secondary use of clinical study data.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with defining business data glossaries and data management processes.
- Experience with enterprise data governance platforms such as Collibra.
This is a Contract position based out of Basking Ridge, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $95.00 - $105.00/hr.
