Job MIG Welder
Job Overview
- Perform MIG welding and fabrication of steel containers
- Work in a high-volume production environment on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Mon–Fri)
- Use GMAW processes on an automated conveyor system
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Fabricate, repair, and finish steel storage/shipping containers
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Measure, layout, align, and secure parts before welding
- Use hand & power tools (grinders, drills, shears, etc.)
- Monitor welding process to avoid defects (warping, distortion, overheating)
- Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment
- Perform cutting using oxy/acetylene and plasma tools
- Grind, smooth, and finish welded components
- Maintain safety standards and clean work area
Required Skills
- ~5 years MIG welding experience in production/fabrication
- Strong GMAW welding skills
- Ability to pass AWS 4G welding test
- Blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Experience with hand & power tools
- Strong attention to detail and safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with steel fabrication and production welding
- Knowledge of multiple welding processes (TIG, FCAW, SMAW, etc.)
- Experience with plasma cutting and oxy/acetylene
- Strong mechanical aptitude in conveyor-based systems

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cinnaminson, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
