Job Title: Sales Support Specialist

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and post-sales satisfaction to facilitate long-term relationships for repeat business.
- Answer and make phone calls to existing clients to update them on the status of their orders or any issues that may arise.
- Assist the outside sales team with client correspondence and follow-up.
- Manage assigned product responsibilities such as managing inventory levels, promoting products to other inside sales employees, and assisting in product pricing and developing promotional literature.
- Set sales quotas and work towards achieving them.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in sales support/customer service.
- Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, including comfort with email correspondence and making phone calls to existing clients.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Communication, or equivalent preferred.
- 1-3 years of sales experience with a comfort level on the telephone and honest communication.
- Strong planning, organization, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of account management, customer support, and service.
- Competitive drive and results-focused attitude.
- Experience in establishing strong relationships through positive interaction with customers.
- Previous experience in the construction/home building industry or the ability to learn quickly.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant sales systems technology.
Work Environment
This position is onsite in Denville, NJ, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The role offers an opportunity to expand your experience with the possibility of a permanent position.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denville, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
