Job Title: Clinical Trials Financial Analyst
Job Description
The Clinical Trials Financial Analyst will conduct research on financial transactions related to clinical trials, ensure accurate journal entries, and manage the distribution of funds to appropriate locations. The role focuses on reconciling a backlog of payments and assisting with accounts receivables, while collaborating with the central Research Financial Services to close out clinical trials.
Responsibilities
- Research financial transactions and determine their purpose.
- Enter journal entries accurately and timely.
- Ensure checks are sent to the correct locations and address the backlog of payments.
- Assist with accounts receivables and follow up on outstanding revenue payments.
- Liaise with central Research Financial Services to close out clinical trials.
- Review incoming revenue weekly, identify new revenues, and obtain payment backups for processing.
- Collaborate with central RFS to resolve 'unapplied' payments and identify project sources.
- Monitor EPIC MP requisitions and update tracker with project account balances using Oracle reports.
- Participate in patient recruitment, enrollment, site visits, and pre-screening for oncology studies.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Oncore, EPIC, and Oracle systems.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and financial analysis within clinical trials.
- Experience with FDA regulations and clinical research.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to perform journal entries promptly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in a non-profit or medical center setting.
- Familiarity with oncology studies.
Work Environment
The position offers a flexible work environment with three days remote and two days onsite. The role will involve collaboration with three additional Financial Analysts. The candidate should reside in NY, NJ, DE, or PA.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Brunswick, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
