Shift/Pay: 5 Days a week
6:00AM - 2:30PM @ Monday-Friday (Must be Flexible for Saturday)

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder responsible for precision welding of mild steel components, primarily using the MIG process. This role supports the fabrication of custom industrial and commercial equipment, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and adherence to engineering specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on mild steel components to fabricate frames and structures for commercial glass installations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to determine dimensions, materials, and welding requirements.
- Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding using appropriate tools and fixtures.
- Inspect welds and finished assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Follow established fabrication procedures and safety guidelines within a production and manufacturing environment.
- Handle and move materials and finished products, consistently lifting up to 50 lbs, or up to 100 lbs with assistance from a co-worker.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including welding equipment and tools, to support efficient production.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and support continuous improvement efforts.
Skills
- Proficient MIG welding skills on mild steel in a production or fabrication environment.
- Ability to perform MIG welding on frames for fire-rated glass used in commercial settings.
- Strong blueprint reading skills to accurately interpret fabrication and welding requirements.
- Experience with metal fabrication processes, including measuring, cutting, and assembling steel components.
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs, and up to 100 lbs with assistance from a co-worker.
- Capability to work safely and effectively in a production, manufacturing, or shop environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
