Responsibilities

• Responsible for writing reports and signing off on them.
• Support Sample Management Operations within Lab Cryogenic freezers, Biorepository Fridges, Stability chambers, Incubators, & lab ambient maps.
• Act as emergency responders for all the lab equipment, reagents, freezers, and refrigerators alarms.
• Work closely with the corporate purchasing team and collaborate on special projects.
• Organize and manage lab space and resources, including allocating freezer/refrigerator/liquid nitrogen space, ordering and storage of consumables/reagents, and keeping track of inventory and expired resources.
• Manage lab inventories and upload CMMS documents, data, and other supported files.
• Coordinate laboratory purchasing to ensure items are stored at the correct temperature.
• Collaborate with the sample management team.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience ideally in a scientific working environment, such as Pharmaceuticals, Biobanking, or Laboratory Services.
• Knowledgeable in diagnosis and troubleshooting of cold storage instrumentation, equipment, and software (LIMS).
• Familiar and experienced with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in principles of calibration and troubleshooting instruments.
• Experience using BMRAM or other CMMS systems.
• Proven ability to deliver quality customer service and ensure issues are effectively resolved in a timely manner.
• Able to maintain and grow relationships with internal clients.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
• Able to work independently, driven to deliver results.
• Applies a continuous improvement approach to achieve business excellence and support clients.
• Willing and able to learn, with an interest in continued professional development.
