Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Job Description
Analyze raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods for conformance to preestablished work instructions and specifications. Operate laboratory equipment such as weigh scales, colorimeters, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and automatic and manual tiltrotors. Perform manufacturing facility quality inspections and investigate and ascertain the cause of analysis variance. Critically examine test results and enter data in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Collaborate with the Quality Control Supervisor (QCS) to perform calibrations and standardizations of laboratory equipment and methods. Maintain standard laboratory procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of laboratory instruments, titrating solutions, reagents, and standards. Maintain the housekeeping of the Quality Control Laboratory (QCL) and participate in and successfully complete all required laboratory training classes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- No industry experience required, but preferred within the Food Industry
- Ability to perform analytical testing in the lab
- Ability to enter the manufacturing floor to receive samples and dress into proper PPE
Work Environment
Team-oriented environment. 2nd shift from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM with 1-2 Saturdays per month in the morning for about 6 hours. Informal environment promoting self-improvement. Friendly and fun culture with opportunities for vertical advancement and a chance to break into the food industry.
