Leidos is seeking a General Manager (PM) who will achieve successful program outcomes for the Joint Munitions Command Operations and Maintenance of Hawthorne Army Depot (O&M HWAD) contract. The HWAD contract provides Supply Depot Operations (SDO) functions including but not limited to ammunition receipt, issue, surveillance, rewarehousing and demilitarization (DEMIL), as well as the operation and maintenance of Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) located in Hawthorne, NV. HWAD is a Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated (GOCO) facility that serves as an archival storage and DEMIL location for a wide array of conventional and non-standard ammunition. In addition to the storage and DEMIL of ammunition, the operating contractor is required to maintain and modernize equipment and facilities, and provide numerous base support services (e.g., grounds maintenance, fire protection, safety and security, etc.).

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the overall health, welfare, and safety of all Depot contractor employees.
  • Establishes and manages the work schedule for the entire operation. Responsible for managing and reporting internal controls, IPRs, and integrating all functional activities necessary to meet contractual requirements, program milestones, and customer requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW), FAR, and Department of the Army regulations as required.
  • Responsible for providing direction to program team personnel.
  • Ensures inspections and training requirements are performed, documented, and submitted on time.
  • Establishes quality policy and objectives.
  • Establishes and manages work priorities.
  • Resolves any problems associated with Depot operations.
  • Maintains a comprehensive physical security program for the Depot.
  • Interfaces with the Government appointed Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Quality Assurance Specialist Ammunition Surveillance (QASAS) inspectors.
  • Conducts periodic management reviews.
  • Provides Senior Government and company officials with oral, written and graphic reports.
Clearance Required to be considered:
  • Active Secret clearance.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • Within the last 10 years, 6 of those years you must have supervised a minimum of (100) personnel in logistics operations, to include munitions receipt, storage and issue.
  • At least 12 years of overall experience in ammunition supply operations.
  • Must have a working knowledge of automated data processing systems.
  • Within four months of hiring, must be proficient through day-to-day demonstrated performance and use of LMP.
  • Must have progressive experience managing projects/programs with P/L responsibility.
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written, with the capability of addressing senior management and peers alike.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
