The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing IT-supported initiatives, ensuring successful execution from project initiation through final closeout. This role demands a resourceful and proactive individual who can thrive in a matrix-style organization, adept at managing competing priorities.
Responsibilities- Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion.
- Work closely with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to develop the scope, deliverables, resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
- Collaborate with other PMO team members to implement tools and processes for a high-functioning, impact-driven IT organization.
- Manage the cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of assigned projects.
- Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders clearly and promptly.
- Lead multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics, and services, for successful project execution.
- Provide regular updates to team management and PMO on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status.
- Identify project problems and find solutions, such as reallocating resources or modifying contractual specifications.
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects.
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, producing reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a comparable role.
- Project management and leadership experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in ERP systems and IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM practices.
- Ability to facilitate business process and value stream mapping sessions.
- Experience with current IT technologies and standards.
- Understanding of information security and data privacy in regulated industries.
- Experience with Monday.com and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Workday or similar ERP/HCM systems.
- Experience supporting global teams or working across multiple time zones.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience working with C-level and senior leadership.
- Vendor/supplier management or process knowledge.
- Familiarity with Lean, Agile, and CCPM methodologies.
This position is 100% remote, with up to 20% national and international travel required. The role requires flexibility in working with global teams and overlapping time zones, with availability during Eastern or Central Time Zone business hours.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62.00 - $68.00/hr.
