Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description
The Assembly Technician works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to build, integrate, and package server racks and related components. This hands-on role requires careful attention to detail, consistent use of hand tools, and strict adherence to assembly instructions to ensure high-quality output. You will collaborate closely with a team on a progressive assembly line to meet production goals while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Responsibilities
- Open and unpack chassis and components to prepare for server assembly.
- Install and replace brackets and labels according to detailed specifications and assembly instructions.
- Integrate computer parts into chassis on a progressive assembly line, ensuring correct placement and secure installation.
- Use small hand tools to install screws and small parts into chassis and related assemblies.
- Safely handle switches and other components, affix them correctly, and apply appropriate labels in line with rack specifications.
- Install rails to the correct elevation based on rack and customer specifications.
- Package finished racks securely for shipment or storage, ensuring all components are protected and properly labeled.
- Identify and scan labels to verify and confirm rack specifications and ensure accuracy against production requirements.
- Assist with recycling materials and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures for product assembly operations.
- Support production and operational needs by performing other related tasks as assigned, including general production and packaging activities.
Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility located near the Las Vegas Speedway. The position operates Monday through Friday, with baseline shift times of 7:00 AM–3:30 PM for day shift and 3:30 PM–12:00 AM for swing shift, with the possibility of slight staggered start times. Initial training for new hires will be conducted on day shift only, with training hours to be confirmed. The first 60 days of production will support both day and swing shifts. The work involves standing for extended periods, working on ladders, lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, and using small hand tools in a progressive production line setting. The facility environment is active, fast-paced, and focused on technology manufacturing and warehouse operations. Parking may be located in a nearby building lot, with a shuttle service provided to the facility.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
