We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level GIS Analyst to join our team in Armonk, NY. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their GIS expertise while working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of geospatial, environmental, utility, and planning projects.
What You'll Do
- Collect, organize, and maintain geospatial data using GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Pro and QGIS
- Create maps, dashboards, and visualizations to support project teams and business objectives
- Assist with spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and data interpretation
- Support utility, environmental, infrastructure, and land development projects
- Update and manage GIS databases, feature classes, and metadata documentation
- Conduct data quality reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency of GIS products
- Integrate GPS, survey, and field-collected data into GIS systems
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, environmental specialists, and project managers
- Prepare technical reports, figures, and exhibits for project documentation
- Learn and apply GIS best practices, workflows, and emerging technologies
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Geospatial Technology, Urban Planning, or a related discipline
- Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, QGIS, or similar GIS software
- Basic understanding of cartography, geodatabases, coordinate systems, and spatial analysis
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to communicate technical findings through maps, reports, and presentations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Desire to learn, grow, and contribute in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, academic project, or research experience using GIS software
- Exposure to Python, SQL, ModelBuilder, or geospatial automation tools
- Experience working with GPS data, aerial imagery, or remote sensing datasets
- Familiarity with utility, environmental, transportation, or planning applications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, CAD-to-GIS workflows, or related mapping software
- ESRI certifications or coursework are a plus

Expected Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Armonk, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
