Hiring a Construction Project Manager!
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing critical path diagrams and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and identifying cost-effective methods to expedite project timelines. You will serve as the primary communicator with clients, architects, engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors, ensuring all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and Manage Critical Path Diagrams and Schedules: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated to serve the critical path. Identify cost-effective methods to accelerate project timelines and provide schedules to superintendents and subcontractors.
- Oversee Project Timeline, Schedules, Job Progress, and Quality: Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Superintendent Management:Lead and support superintendents, ensuring they fulfill their roles and responsibilities effectively. Provide guidance and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Subcontractor Management:Contract and manage subcontractors, acting as the first-level communicator after the job is awarded. Monitor subcontractor performance and address any communication challenges, escalating to management if necessary.
- Labor Management:Inspire and motivate the workforce, ensuring timely workflow and effective labor distribution. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, (Not required depending on experience!!)
