Survey Technician – Infrastructure & Construction Monitoring (NYC)
We are seeking a motivated Survey Technician to join a highly respected and expanding survey group supporting large‑scale infrastructure and construction projects across New York City. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, field responsibility, and being part of a collaborative team delivering projects that shape and protect the city’s public infrastructure.

What You’ll Do
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot survey and monitoring instruments near active construction sites
- Set up, manage, and operate Automated Total Stations in dense urban environments, including near buildings, roadways, and bridges
- Perform scheduled field visits to validate data accuracy and ensure optimal equipment performance
- Collect, process, and analyze survey and monitoring data
- Work closely with surveyors, engineers, and project teams to support accurate reporting and successful project delivery
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience working with survey instrumentation and data collection
- Hands‑on experience with Automated Total Stations
- Proficiency with GeoMos software
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering Technology, Land Surveying, or a related field preferred
Work Environment & Career Growth

- Typical schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Forest Hills, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
