You would be involved in all phases of a project within the healthcare, K-12, retail, office, and commercial interiors industry!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Architect to join our dynamic team, working closely with Team Leads, Construction Project Managers, and Job Supervisors, primarily utilizing AutoCAD for drafting.

The Architect will be ultimately responsible for the drafting and successful completion of projects, attending client-consultant meetings and construction meetings with general contractors. This role demands overseeing the project from design documentation to the completion of construction, ensuring compliance with Building Code and ADA requirements for commercial uses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Team Leads, Construction Project Managers, and Job Supervisors.
• Utilize AutoCad for project drafting and completion.
• Attend client-consultants meetings and construction meetings with general contractors.
• Oversee project from design documentation through to construction completion.
• Ensure compliance with Building Code and ADA requirements for commercial uses.
• Understand the various agencies required for obtaining full permits for commercial building construction.
• Possess beneficial experience in medical facilities, including familiarity with FGI guidelines for Outpatient Facilities and Dept of Health Article 28 regulations.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture, design, and project management.
• Knowledge in architectural design, drafting, and design development.

Work Environment

The Architect will work from 9am to 6pm
