What We Do/Project
This role supports publicity efforts on the documentary team by helping coordinate talent travel and services, track budgets and invoices, assist with scheduling, managing show assets, and drafting press materials. It also assists with planning and executing press events, coverage reporting, and day-to-day departmental coordination.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
• Help create and manage show asset needs including photos, clips, loglines, synopses, etc.
• Track and process invoices and manage the Docs team budget
• Draft press materials including press releases and media alerts.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for talent.
• Coordinate glam services for talent.
• Assist with planning, staffing, logistics and talent and media relations for press events, press days, premiere screenings, festivals, awards show carpets, etc.
• Participate in department brainstorms and PR department meetings.
• Maintain and update various department and team calendars with ongoing publicity activities.
• Compile show campaign coverage reports.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
1) Ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment
a. 1+ years; Organization skills and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
2) Experience working in entertainment publicity, with an understanding of the entertainment press, trends, and social media.
a. 1+ years.
3) Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.
a. 1+ years; Ability to communicate with high-profile individuals (actors, producers, press, etc.).
