Electrician
Job Description
This role leads electrical work on high-end, ground-up residential projects, with a strong focus on finish work and high-quality installations. You will work independently on an upscale apartment complex, performing tasks from exposing and backfilling conduit to installing and troubleshooting electrical systems while ensuring all work aligns with blueprints and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Work independently as the lead electrician on a high-end, ground-up residential project, including an apartment complex.
- Dig holes to expose existing or planned conduit in accordance with project layouts and safety standards.
- Fill and backfill holes once conduit layout and related work are complete, ensuring a clean and safe work area.
- Perform finish electrical work to a high standard, including final installations, terminations, and detailed fit-out tasks.
- Install, route, and secure conduit and wiring systems in line with project requirements and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan, lay out, and execute electrical installations accurately.
- Use hand and power tools to install, assemble, and secure electrical components and systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform mechanical and electrical adjustments to ensure proper system operation.
- Coordinate work sequences to meet project timelines and maintain high-quality standards on all electrical installations.
- Maintain a safe and organized work site, including proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience performing electrical work on high-end residential construction projects.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of electrical tasks on ground-up residential builds.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Hands-on experience with conduit installation and conduit bending.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving on active job sites.
- Skilled in wiring installation, including routing, terminating, and securing conductors.
- Comfort using basic hand and power tools for electrical and construction tasks.
- Mechanical aptitude for installing and adjusting electrical components and systems.
- Experience performing detailed finish electrical work in residential environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on high-end residential apartment complexes or similar projects.
- Experience in construction environments where coordination with other trades is required.
- Familiarity with reading and working from multiple sets of blueprints and plans.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finish work.

You will work primarily on active construction floors and outdoor areas where excavation, conduit installation, and finish work take place. The environment involves regular use of basic hand and power tools and requires consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Work is performed in typical construction conditions, which may include noise, dust, and varying weather exposure depending on the phase of the project.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
