Position Description: Serve as operational and strategic bridge between Turner's Environmental Social Governance (ESG) field execution and its enterprise reporting obligations. Position Description: Serve as operational and strategic bridge between Turner's Environmental Social Governance (ESG) field execution and its enterprise reporting obligations. Manage lifecycle of ESG reporting streams, including parent company submissions and external disclosures, while translating jobsite insights into actionable strategy and implementation support.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee Environmental Social Governance (ESG) reporting streams, including annual submissions to Turner's parent company, external ESG frameworks, and ad hoc disclosure requests to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across reporting formats.
- Oversee quality, integrity, and governance of ESG performance data in partnership with Analytics teams; review consolidated metrics and resolve discrepancies before submission.
Establish reporting standards and processes that scale audit readiness and compliance; facilitate communication with stakeholders to adopt standards. - Maintain and continuously improve ESG standard operating procedures (SOPs), reporting calendars, and internal controls supporting non-financial disclosure.
- In collaboration with ESG leadership, translate company ESG commitments into executable programs, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs), track progress, and surface risks or opportunities for leadership consideration.
Work with department leads to leverage construction operations experience to ground ESG strategy in field realities; identify and discuss practical and beneficial pathways to improve environmental, social, and governance performance at local level. Maintain relationships with stakeholders to track and monitor progress and recommend adjustments as needed. - Research and benchmark emerging ESG regulations, industry standards, and competitor practices to inform and promote evolution of Turner's ESG programs and identify strategic opportunities.
- Lead development and coordination of ESG subcommittees, working groups, and cross-functional initiatives in support of company-wide commitments.
- Coordinate and manage responses to client, investor, and third-party ESG questionnaires/ratings (e.g., CDP, EcoVadis) and support development of clear and consistent narrative disclosures.
- Partner with Legal, Risk, Internal Audit, and external providers to support ESG assurance readiness, evidence collection, control testing, and audit trail documentation for key metrics and disclosures.
- Develop and deliver ESG reporting guidance, training, and communications for local teams; serve as a point of contact to troubleshoot reporting questions and drive consistent adoption of standards.
- Manage ESG documentation, record retention, and version control (e.g., evidence repositories, data lineage, methodology memos) to strengthen transparency and repeatable reporting processes.
- Support periodic materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement activities; synthesize feedback into prioritized reporting enhancements and program recommendations.

- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Sustainability Management, or related field of study, with 8 years of experience in construction or related construction industry, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Familiar with Environmental Social Governance (ESG) frameworks and standards (e.g., Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Task Force On Climate Related Disclosures (TCFD), Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)), preferred not required
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications, collaborative tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and database applications
- Strong analysis, critical thinking, good judgment, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop metrics and track results
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and organizational levels
- Excellent communication delivery, professional verbal and written communication skills, with ability to translate technical information into accessible language
- Familiar with ESG disclosure and assurance expectations, including data controls, audit readiness, and emerging standards and regulations (e.g., ISSB/IFRS S1/S2, SASB, SEC climate disclosures as applicable)
- Project management and change management skills, including facilitating cross-functional meetings, driving action items, and delivering on deadlines
- Experience developing process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials; ability to coach stakeholders on data collection and reporting requirements
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including ability to influence without authority and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders

*The salary range for this position in NYC is estimated to be $154K - $239K. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location. *
