Job Description

The Clinical Medical Assistant role is centered on providing patient care and education in accordance with established standards and practices. This position involves updating patient charts using electronic medical records systems, documenting changes, and coordinating with other care team members to ensure seamless care delivery and active patient participation in planning and care. The assistant is responsible for restocking rooms and facilitating a smooth flow in the clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education following established standards and practices.
• Update patient charts using electronic medical records systems.
• Document changes in patient conditions and care plans.
• Coordinate with other care team members to ensure seamless care delivery and maximal coordination.
• Actively involve patients in planning and care processes.
• Restock examination rooms with necessary supplies.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting, or graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
• Demonstrated stable employment history and favorable references.

Work Environment

This position offers shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with no holiday or vacation time, but includes sick time. The dress code requires wearing scrubs.
