Columbia Doctors is Hiring a Telehealth Nurse!

As a telehealth nurse, you will ensure the health and wellness of employees within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will involve triaging employees over the phone or video and creating plans for them to return to work or seek further medical attention. You will also collaborate with the company to develop an infection control plan and educate employees on measures to avoid illnesses such as the flu. Furthermore, you will work closely with the HR team on return-to-work guidelines and workers' compensation claims.

Responsibilities

• Triage employees over the phone or video and create action plans based on medical concerns.
• Clear employees to return to work.
• Ensure new employees have completed their required medical screenings, including physicals and vaccines.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure proper OSHA steps are being taken.

Essential Skills

• Telehealth experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
• Proficiency in telemedicine.
• Medical assisting experience.
• Patient care expertise.
• Experience with Epic systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).

Work Environment

The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 08:30 am to 05:00 pm across multiple office locations, including Hawthorne, White Plains, and Yonkers. The Scarsdale office is located at 688 White Plains Road, Scarsdale, NY, focusing on cardiology. The Hawthorne office is at #700, Hawthorne, NY, also specializing in cardiology. The White Plains office at 15 North Broadway is a multi-specialty office, while the Yonkers office at 1086 N Broadway STE 240 specializes in cardiology. You will work in a busy outpatient setting, managing 50-100 patients daily.
