Job Title: Commercial Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a commercial maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair work across assigned commercial facilities. This role supports HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems while ensuring safe, reliable building operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repair work on building systems.
- Respond to repair requests and building emergencies as needed.
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment.
- Support electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and general building repairs.
- Identify safety hazards and follow all safety and housekeeping procedures.
- Document findings and provide condition reports and recommendations.
- Support after-hours building needs and emergency call-outs when required.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of HVAC experience, commercial preferred.
- Facilities or building maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of control systems, drywall, and painting.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPA certification.
- Familiarity with building automation and fire/life safety systems.

Schedule & Environment:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Company vehicle provided for port-to-port travel.
- 24-hour coverage with occasional call-outs.
- Work may span multiple sites, with travel up to approximately 85 miles.
This is a Permanent position based out of Syracuse, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
