Your Impactful Role:

• Ensure a safe and clean environment for our research animals by performing essential maintenance and sanitation tasks within animal housing facilities.
• Conduct monthly sanitation duties on equipment and living spaces to uphold our high standards.
• Keep meticulous records of animal health, supplies, and equipment management.
• Provide compassionate daily care for research animals, observing their health and checking their surroundings.
• Monitor and report any changes in the animal environment or health to ensure the best care.
• Participate in changing and cleaning cages, equipment, water bottles, and food supplies.
• Welcome new animals by efficiently unpacking and housing them upon arrival.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team and follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to promote safety and efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent technical certification is required.
• While a minimum of one year of animal care experience is preferred, we welcome entry-level candidates with a passion for animal husbandry.
• Experience working with mice is a bonus!
• Strong skills in cleaning, sterilization, and animal husbandry are essential.
• A team player who is eager to learn and committed to adhering to lab safety protocols.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $21.00, based on experience.
