Electrical Test Engineer
Overview
Join a growing manufacturing organization as an Electrical Test Engineer, where you'll lead electrical testing operations, support product quality initiatives, and help drive continuous improvement. This is a hands-on engineering role with leadership opportunities, working closely with Production, Quality, R&D, and Engineering teams to ensure products meet performance and customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily electrical laboratory operations, with the opportunity to grow into a lab management role.
- Develop, improve, and maintain electrical test methods, procedures, and equipment.
- Perform and oversee electrical testing to ensure compliance with product specifications and customer requirements.
- Analyze test data and prepare reports to support Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Production teams.
- Troubleshoot test issues and recommend solutions to improve product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
- Manage maintenance and calibration of test equipment to minimize downtime.
- Evaluate new materials and components and provide technical recommendations.
- Support automated testing and data acquisition systems.
- Mentor and train lab personnel on testing procedures, equipment operation, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product and process challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1+ years of electrical testing, product testing, or related engineering experience.
- Experience working with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, impedance analyzers, LCR meters, or similar instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Experience with LabVIEW or similar test automation software preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or production environment experience.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as SPC, DOE, and capability studies.
- Experience with automated data acquisition systems and test programming.
- Previous leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Wallkill, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $93000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Full medical, dental, vision, long and short term disability, life, 11 paid holidays, get 1 week of PTO within the first 6 months and an additional 2 weeks throughout the next 6 months and 401K that's up to 65% with a 3% company match
