Construction Superintendent

Position Overview
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through closeout. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while serving as the primary field leader for clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily field operations and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
- Manage construction projects from mobilization through final completion and turnover.
- Maintain project schedules, productivity goals, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, inspections, and project documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and safety meetings to foster a strong safety culture.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, and field productivity to ensure successful execution.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, project managers, architects, and stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on schedule.
- Support ground-up construction, renovations, tenant fit-outs, clean rooms, and complex MEP-intensive projects ranging from $500K to $20M+.
- Mentor and develop field staff while promoting continuous improvement and teamwork.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent overseeing commercial construction projects.
- Experience with pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, semiconductor, laboratory, or clean room environments strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Experience managing subcontractors, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project schedules.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Sage, or similar construction management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- PMP certification is considered an asset.

Compensation
$120,000 - $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and project background.Westchester County, NY
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of White Plains, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $160000.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
