Job Title: Security Technician

Job Description
As a Security Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of various systems within commercial buildings. Your main responsibilities will include the installation, programming, and servicing of fire and burglar alarm systems, CCTV camera systems, intercom systems, and access control systems. This position requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to work at heights. The work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM during the first shift.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair all aspects of CCTV (analog and IP), Access Control, Burglar Alarm, and associated peripheral equipment.
- Document all aspects of installation and service calls.
- Perform preventive maintenance on indoor and outdoor equipment as needed.
- Pull wire as required for installations.
- Operate lifts and work at various heights; a work vehicle will be provided for jobs.
- Abide by customer and company safety standards.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Previous experience in electrical or electronic fields.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable working at heights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Fire alarm and life safety experience preferred.
- Industry experience is recommended.
- Knowledge of installing and servicing video surveillance, card access, and burglary systems.
- Networking with IP camera experience preferred.
- State of Ohio Fire Alarm License preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $62400.00/hr.
