Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to program, troubleshoot, and optimize FANUC robots, CNC equipment, and automated manufacturing systems. You will be responsible for developing and modifying PLC and HMI programs to support production and equipment performance, setting up, launching, and improving automated production lines and robotic work cells.
Responsibilities
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize FANUC robots, CNC equipment, and automated manufacturing systems.
- Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs to support production and equipment performance.
- Set up, launch, and improve automated production lines and robotic work cells.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls, robotics, automation equipment, and CNC-related issues.
- Support new equipment installations, automation upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Work with production and maintenance teams to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
- Create and maintain programming documentation and operating procedures.
- Ensure equipment operates safely and meets quality and production standards.
Essential Skills
- Automation and Robotics expertise.
- Proficiency in CNC programming.
- Experience with automated manufacturing systems.
- Industrial robotics experience, specifically with FANUC.
- PLC and HMI programming skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Related degree or 5+ years' field experience preferred.
- Strong CNC programming and troubleshooting abilities.
- 5+ years of experience in automation, robotics, PLC, HMI, or CNC programming.
- Experience with robotic integration, industrial controls, and automated manufacturing systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
This is a Permanent position based out of Ashland, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
