Job Description
This position is for a MIG Welding role where you will engage in welding various parts using different materials.
Responsibilities
- Weld various parts in different materials.
- Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check for quality requirements.
- Understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Perform grinding, sanding, and cutting using oxy fuel and hand plasma.
- Adhere to lean manufacturing initiatives, quality requirements, and safety programs.
- Perform general welding and shop duties as needed.
- Proficiency in MIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with stainless steel, carbon steel, and structural welding.
- Knowledge of pre-heat and post-heat welding.
- Experience with carbon arc and stick welding (SMAW).
- Experience in welding Carbon, Stainless, or High Alloy Steels.
- Experience with Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and the transfer process.
- Ability to weld thick to thin structural members.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment
You will work in a dynamic environment with the largest Roll Forming & Press Brake machine in the Northern Hemisphere. You will operate under the direction of the Team Manager, safely producing quality parts in a timely manner. There are three large machining centers available, with potential growth opportunities to learn multiple different machining centers.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $60320.00/yr.
