Job Description
This role involves performing commercial electrical installations and related tasks on a structured evening schedule. You will install and bend EMT conduit, pull wire, and complete a variety of electrical duties as directed by the foreman, ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant work on a commercial construction site.
Responsibilities
- Install and bend EMT conduit in sizes including 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1 1/2 inch, and 2 inch according to project specifications and electrical codes.
- Pull and route electrical wire and cable through conduit and other pathways to support power distribution and low-voltage systems.
- Perform miscellaneous electrical tasks as directed by the foreman, supporting overall project progress and quality.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and drawings to complete installations accurately and efficiently.
- Install switchgear, panels, and related electrical equipment in commercial environments.
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical systems and components to identify and resolve issues safely.
- Support low-voltage installations as needed, following project requirements and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with site and safety guidelines.
- Work consistently during scheduled evening shifts and adjust to additional days as project needs evolve.
- Minimum of 3+ years of commercial electrical experience.
- Proficiency installing and bending EMT conduit in sizes 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1 1/2 inch, and 2 inch.
- Experience pulling wire and installing electrical cable in commercial construction environments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Hands-on experience with switchgear and panel installation.
- Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues.
- Familiarity with commercial construction practices and site safety requirements.
- Ability to follow directions from a foreman and work effectively as part of a team.
- Capability to work a consistent evening schedule.
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
- Experience working on commercial construction projects from rough-in through finish.
- Comfort working with a variety of electrical tools, equipment, and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing tasks safely and accurately.

Work Environment

The environment involves active construction conditions, including working around tools, equipment, and materials, and requires adherence to site safety rules and appropriate work attire suitable for a construction setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
