Job Title: Plumber
$35.00/hr + $100/day per diem
Job Description
Join a major hospital construction project in Columbus, OH as a Plumber, focusing on medical gas installation and piping systems. You will support a long-term build by installing and brazing copper and stainless steel piping in a large, active construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, fit, and assemble medical gas piping systems throughout a large hospital construction site.
- Run and connect copper and stainless steel pipe to specification, ensuring accurate measurements and secure joints.
- Perform brazing on copper and stainless steel piping in accordance with industry standards and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely and efficiently.
- Support project progress on a multi-year schedule by working Monday through Friday and most Saturdays as needed.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, including installation of piping systems on large commercial or institutional projects.
- Hands-on expertise with stainless steel pipe and copper pipe installation and repair.
- Strong brazing skills with copper and stainless steel piping for medical gas systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings related to plumbing and piping layouts.
- Proficiency using basic hand tools safely and effectively in a construction environment.
- Current OSHA 10 certification.
Work Environment
This role is based on a large hospital construction site in Columbus, OH, focused on medical gas and piping installations. The project spans approximately three years, with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., plus most Saturdays.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
