Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and robotic systems within a clean, organized manufacturing environment. The maintenance technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, while adapting to new, highly automated equipment and using maintenance software to document work.
Responsibilities
- Replace mechanical and electrical components throughout the facility, including coils on robots and water jet heads, to keep equipment operating reliably.
- Work with pneumatic cylinders, bolts, clamps, and related components to install, adjust, repair, and maintain equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns as they occur, including issues with automated molds and water jets, to minimize downtime.
- Learn to operate and maintain a KMT Streamline SL-V 50 R Plus system and apply that knowledge to daily maintenance tasks.
- Perform welding tasks when needed to support equipment repair and fabrication.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to reduce unplanned failures.
- Use Fiix maintenance software to receive work orders, document completed tasks, record parts usage, and update equipment history using computers and tablets.
- Shadow experienced technicians and actively learn new procedures for working with advanced robotic and automated equipment.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, peers, and production staff about equipment status, repair timelines, and maintenance needs.
- Support an organized, efficient maintenance shop by maintaining tools, parts, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Work overtime as needed to support production schedules, equipment projects, and urgent repairs.
Essential Skills
- At least one year of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Hands-on experience working with 480V electrical systems and equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in preventive maintenance and equipment repair.
- Ability to work with pneumatic components such as cylinders, bolts, clamps, and related hardware.
- Willingness and availability to work overtime when required.
- Ability to train on first shift for approximately 30 days and adapt to the training schedule.
- Comfort using computers and tablets to work with Fiix maintenance software or similar computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with maintenance leadership, peers, and production teams.
- Openness to shadowing experienced technicians and learning new technologies and equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with industrial robots and robotic systems.
- Experience working with advanced automated equipment such as water jets and specialized production machinery.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience with welding in an industrial or maintenance setting.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new equipment and technologies in a highly automated environment.
- Familiarity with organized maintenance practices and 5S principles in a maintenance shop.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.90 - $30.00/hr.
