General Production Worker
Job Description
This role supports a specialized production facility that manufactures packaging systems for labware, test kits, vials, and surgical kits used in the medical field. As a General Production Worker, you will coordinate activities on the conveyor line, organize work orders at load and unload stations, and help ensure safe, accurate, and efficient processing of products.

Responsibilities
- Load and unload product from conveyor systems and place totes onto pallets as required.
- Prepare and operate the dosimeter reader and take accurate readings for each work order.
- Maintain accurate downtime logs and system configuration records in accordance with facility procedures.
- Replace designated mechanical components of the system when needed and assist Maintenance with repairs as required.
- Perform general production, inspection, packing, and machine operation tasks as needed on the line.
Essential Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a general production worker within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift 20–30 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform basic inspection and packing tasks with attention to detail.
- Capability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating a Toyota sit-down forklift.
- Experience working as a production associate in a medical supplies manufacturing facility.
- Experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing or processing environment.
Work Environment
The facility operates in a non-climate-controlled environment, with heating and cooling units positioned throughout the floor to support comfort. The production area features two conveyor systems where employees load and unload totes onto pallets as part of the packaging process. The team is relatively small, with around 30 employees, fostering a close-knit, family-oriented atmosphere. Standard work attire includes safety glasses and steel-toe shoes, and certain branded clothing such as hoodies and T-shirts is provided for use at work.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewis Center, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
