Job Title: Project Manager


Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee an project focused on equipment upgrades within our manufacturing facility. This role involves coordinating demolition, construction, equipment transitions, and the installation and validation of new equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure project timelines are maintained and adjusted as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and communicate timelines for the full project including demolition, construction, equipment transition from existing production environments, equipment receipt and installation from external suppliers and internal groups, all equipment validation and verifications, and full inventory build plans for existing equipment moves.
  • Adjust timelines based upon any changes due to delays, improvements, or other reasons.
  • Plan and coordinate physical movements of equipment.
  • Function as liaison between Construction, Daily Operations, Engineering, and Planning teams.
  • Attend construction update meetings in person or via remote link to ensure alignment.
  • Establish and maintain communication between Construction and Daily Operations.
  • Work with Planning and Daily Operations teams to create inventory build plans.
  • Track financial aspects of the project.

Essential Skills

  • 5 years of project management experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Technical experience to understand manufacturing processes, capital equipment, and plant layout.
  • Previous Manufacturing Engineering experience.
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree preferred but not required.

Work Environment

This role is onsite five days a week, helping with plant layout and working closely with the planning group and construction individuals. The candidate must network well with various teams. Some flexibility to work remotely is available. The equipment involved includes large lab/medical device producing machines. The project aims to move towards more automation, upgrading or replacing equipment as needed.
