Job Description
The Production Worker safely handles and produces composite materials using production machinery and hand assembly processes. This role involves working with chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases, assembling and loading molds, and accurately recording production data in an ERP system to ensure consistent quality and traceability.
Responsibilities
- Safely handle and produce composite materials using production machinery and hand assembly processes.
- Handle chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Assemble molds using basic hand tools and ensure they are properly prepared for production.
- Load molds into furnaces and ovens following specified work instructions and production schedules.
- Interpret work orders autonomously to understand job requirements, materials, and process steps.
- Perform visual quality checks on materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Utilize an ERP system to accurately record production data, results, and any required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient production environment.
- At least 1 year of experience interpreting work orders independently in a production or similar environment.
- At least 1 year of experience performing visual quality checks or inspections.
- At least 1 year of experience using hand tools or other tools requiring manual dexterity.
- At least 1 year of experience with data entry or record keeping in a work setting.
- Ability to safely handle chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety and quality procedures.
- Comfort working with production machinery, furnaces, and ovens.
- Basic computer skills to enter and manage data in an ERP or similar system.
- Any experience batching or mixing chemicals is a plus.
- Any experience working with composite materials is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both production tasks and data entry.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
- Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing production needs.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miamisburg, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
