Job Description
This role involves operating powered industrial equipment to move, store, and prepare materials and products within a busy distribution center. You ensure accurate picking, packing, and staging of orders while maintaining high safety, productivity, and quality standards across all warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and turret trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, transport, stack, and retrieve materials, including items stored in elevated locations.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and promptly report any safety or maintenance concerns.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Pick and retrieve products using pick lists, RF scanners, or system-directed methods.
- Verify product descriptions, quantities, and storage locations to ensure complete order accuracy.
- Pack, label, and stage orders in a way that minimizes damage and supports efficient shipment.
- Maintain established accuracy, productivity, and quality standards in all assigned tasks.
- Handle materials using pallet jacks and other warehouse tools to support production and shipping activities.
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions, including loading and unloading trailers and verifying shipments.
- Support general warehouse duties such as sorting, assembly, data entry, and inventory control as needed.

Work Environment
This position is based in a distribution center environment that operates on structured shifts. One schedule runs Tuesday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Another schedule runs Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Monday to Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. You work around racking, elevated storage locations, and active material-handling operations, using forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. The role is physically active, involving regular lifting up to 40 pounds, walking, standing, and operating equipment throughout the shift in a typical warehouse setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
