Job Title: Warehouse Associate
1st shift 7am to 4:30pm

Job Description
The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in the shipping and receiving operations, ensuring products are accurately prepared, packaged, and loaded for outbound shipments. This position handles freight from arrival through departure, uses SAP and other warehouse systems to track inventory, and works closely with truck drivers while maintaining a professional, customer-focused demeanor in a fast-paced environment. The role requires occasional lifting up to 60 lbs, though the work is not considered intensive labor.
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of shipping and receiving freight, including checking incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
- Load, unload, and move products and materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Package products securely and prepare them for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Stage and load prepared shipments onto trucks in an organized and efficient manner.
- Use SAP and ERP systems to track inventory, update shipment information, and maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Perform inventory control activities, including counting, verifying, and recording warehouse stock levels.
- Operate RF scanners and related warehouse technology to manage inventory and shipment data.
- Work closely with truck drivers, providing professional and courteous customer service during pick-ups and deliveries.
Essential Skills
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs on occasion throughout the shift.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, with prior forklift certification required.
- Hands-on experience with material handling, including loading, unloading, and palletizing products.
- Basic understanding of inventory control practices and warehouse inventory processes.
- Ability to use RF scanners and related warehouse technology for inventory and shipment tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and careful work habits, particularly when handling products and documentation.
- Professional demeanor and customer service skills for interacting with truck drivers and other external partners.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and safety.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using SAP or other ERP systems for inventory tracking is a plus.
- Experience working with chemicals is preferred, with a focus on safety and detail orientation.
- Improvement-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Team-oriented attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with a small group of colleagues.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stow, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
