This role involves safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport materials between locations while complying with all applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, ensuring they are properly secured, and supporting warehouse and distribution center operations as needed.
Responsibilities- Operate a commercial vehicle in full compliance with all applicable traffic, safety, and transportation laws and regulations.
- Transport material from one location to another in a timely and safe manner.
- Safely load and unload material, ensuring all items are properly secured to prevent damage or loss.
- Operate distribution center and warehouse tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Check dimensions of material before, during, and after processing to maintain specified tolerances.
- Count and weigh pieces, weigh scrap, and keep materials segregated by grades as required.
- Stencil, stamp, and attach identification tags to material and packages, and color code various products as required.
- Verify and package orders according to customer specifications.
- Transport material between workstations using side loaders, lift trucks, and floor-operated overhead cranes.
- Keep accurate production records and operate transmission equipment to enter, receive, and send data.
- Perform general labor duties and other tasks as directed to support manufacturing and warehouse operations.
- Valid CDL Class B license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of previous manufacturing experience.
- Ability to meet requirements on basic math and measuring skills assessment.
- Safe and reliable driving skills with experience operating commercial vehicles.
- Ability to safely load and unload materials and ensure proper securement.
- Experience working in warehouse or production environments.
- Ability to operate forklifts, side loaders, lift trucks, and floor-operated overhead cranes.
- Strong attention to detail for checking dimensions, counting, weighing, and segregating materials.
- Ability to maintain accurate production records and handle basic data entry.
- Warehouse experience, including inventory handling and order verification.
- Production environment experience with familiarity in material processing.
- Customer service skills to support internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- General labor experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
- Experience with loading and unloading materials using appropriate equipment.
- Ability to stencil, stamp, tag, and color code products according to specifications.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49129.60 - $49129.60/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Annual bonus opportunity; percentage to be confirmed. Dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match up to 6%, plus an additional 3% company contribution; immediately vested. Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield health coverage beginning the first day of the month following hire. At least two weeks of vacation for new employees. Paid company holidays.
