⚡ Journeyman Electrician (Travel) – Solar Energy Projects
Pay: $55/hour + $100/day per diem (for travel >75 miles from home)
Locations: Duncan, OK (73055) & Guymon, OK (73942)
License Requirement: Active Oklahoma Journeyman Electrician License
🌞 About the Role
Join our team to help build the future of renewable energy in Oklahoma. As a Journeyman Electrician, you’ll install, wire, and commission solar energy systems in compliance with NEC and local codes. This is a travel-based role with strong pay and per diem benefits.
🔧 Responsibilities
- Solar panel installation: Secure panels on rooftops and ground mounts.
- Racking & inverter mounting: Assemble hardware per project plans.
- Electrical compliance: Perform grounding, conduit runs, and inspections.
- Blueprint reading: Interpret electrical drawings for layout and wiring.
- Conduit bending: Install conduit for solar systems.
- Conduct site assessments to confirm accurate measurements and equipment placement.
- Support installation and electrical activities across multiple solar farm projects.
🏗️ Work Environment
- Outdoor solar farm settings with ground-mounted arrays.
- Use of hand/power tools, conduit benders, and electrical equipment.
- Adherence to OSHA safety standards and PPE requirements.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and active construction sites.

- Experience with solar farm installations.
- Industrial or construction electrical work.
- Ability to measure and lay out equipment accurately.
- Comfortable working outdoors in diverse conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation.
