Description
- Greets and welcomes patients.
- Introduces self to patient and escorts to the appropriate location for pre-examination information gathering.
- Inquires about any self-referrals, recent ER visits or hospitalizations, and requests reports from appropriate sources, documenting in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Accurately measures and records patient specific information including height, weight, respiration, pulse, blood pressure, temperature, SpO2, allergies, active medication list, pain score and head circumference, as appropriate.
- Documents patient’s stated chief complaint in the EMR.

1.1+ year MA experience rooming patients and taking vitals
2. Ability to communicate professionally
3. Good written and verbal communication
