Job Description
This role supports a high-volume production line by operating and monitoring machinery, handling materials, and recording production data to ensure consistent product quality and output. You will work with electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment, proactively identify and clear jams, and assist at different stations on the line as needed.
Responsibilities
- Feed materials into production machines and ensure a steady flow of product through the line.
- Oversee production processes and continuously monitor machines for jams, malfunctions, or irregularities.
- Identify and clear jams safely and promptly to minimize downtime.
- Measure products and materials accurately, including length, weight, and other specified dimensions.
- Record production data such as meters, quantities, dimensions, and other relevant metrics with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Load and unload materials and products from machines, conveyors, and workstations.
- Assist in operating, adjusting, and setting up production machines when needed.
- Support material handling activities, including moving, staging, and organizing materials for production.
Essential Skills
- Previous manufacturing experience in a production or industrial environment.
- Good understanding of measurements, including length, weight, and dimensions.
- Ability to accurately measure products and materials and record production data.
- Experience working with electro-mechanical equipment and basic mechanical components.
- Familiarity with maintenance, hydraulics, and troubleshooting concepts in a production setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating, adjusting, and setting up production machines.
- Experience in assembly, industrial production, or general labor roles.
- Comfort working with older and potentially outdated machinery and equipment.
- Flexibility to support different areas of the production line based on operational needs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Work Environment
This position is based in a copper tubing manufacturing plant that uses older and some outdated machines, providing exposure to traditional industrial equipment and processes. The facility is non-climate-controlled, so temperatures may vary significantly with the seasons. The production operation runs on multiple shifts, including a 1st shift from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a 2nd shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and a 3rd shift from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., with additional work on Saturdays as needed. The environment is industrial and hands-on, requiring comfort with machinery, material handling, and extended periods on your feet while following all safety guidelines and appropriate work attire for a manufacturing setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $14.75 - $14.75/hr.
