- DURATION: 12 month contract with potential for extension/conversion

Key Responsibilities
We're seeking an experienced IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain manufacturing infrastructure in a pharmaceutical production environment. This role will serve as the site's infrastructure expert, supporting virtualization, server environments, backups, disaster recovery, networking, and manufacturing systems.
What You'll Do
- Support and maintain IT/OT infrastructure for manufacturing and automation systems
- Administer VMware virtual environments, servers, storage, and user accounts
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions
- Support Active Directory, firewall access, network connectivity, and SQL databases
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, server, network, and manufacturing system issues
- Partner with global IT teams to implement infrastructure standards and best practices
- Support system upgrades, installations, and ongoing maintenance activities
MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of Systems Engineering or Infrastructure experience
- Strong experience with:
- IT Infrastructure & Server Administration
- VMware Virtualization
- Backup & Disaster Recovery Solutions
- Active Directory & Account Management
- Network Fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Firewalls)
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience supporting data center operations and enterprise infrastructure environments
- Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, industrial, or regulated environments preferred
- Experience working in a change control environment, computer systems validation, and with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documentation.
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (including weekends and holidays)
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with SCADA, MES, DCS, or other manufacturing control systems
- Nutanix experience
- Infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Cybersecurity, EDR/XDR, or OT security experience
This is a Contract position based out of Hillsboro, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $46.00 - $48.00/hr.
