Job Title: Clean Room Technician
Job Description
This entry-level clean room technician role supports pharmaceutical production by assembling and packaging medical components in a controlled cleanroom environment. You will follow detailed work instructions, handle medical devices and packaging materials, and help ensure products meet quality and safety standards. Multiple shifts are available across first, second, and third shift schedules, offering consistent full-time hours Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Read and follow written work instructions to complete daily production tasks accurately and safely.
- Feed materials and components onto the assembly line to support continuous production flow.
- Assemble and package medical parts, including tubing, bottles, cartridges, and syringes, according to specifications.
- Stand on the assembly line and remove syringes from boxes in preparation for further processing.
- Disassemble syringes as required and repackage them into new boxes or packaging configurations.
- Construct and assemble boxes used for packaging syringes and other medical components.
- Follow work orders to pull the correct parts and materials for each job and ensure proper labeling and packaging.
- Perform general labor and production duties in support of cleanroom operations.
- Review and, where applicable, assist in dispositioning materials requested by internal customers in the medical device environment.
- Maintain a clean and compliant work area by adhering to all cleanroom protocols, PPE requirements, and safety procedures.
- Stand for most of the shift while performing repetitive tasks with consistent quality and attention to detail.
Essential Skills
- Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours per day to perform production and assembly tasks.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and work orders in a manufacturing environment.
- Manual dexterity with hands to handle small parts, assemble medical components, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfort working in a cleanroom environment with strict rules and procedures.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for the entire shift.
- High school diploma or GED preferred for assembly roles.
- Ability to follow directions, maintain focus, and work efficiently on an assembly line.
- Reliability in adhering to assigned shift schedules and production expectations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in roles such as assembler, production worker, general labor, or warehouse is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with cleanroom or medical device environments is a plus.
- Comfort working with medical parts such as tubing, bottles, cartridges, and syringes.
- Ability to work effectively on first, second, or third shift as needed by the operation.
- Strong attention to detail and quality when packaging and labeling products.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to standardized processes and procedures.

Work Environment
This role is based in a pharmaceutical cleanroom environment with strict cleanliness and safety standards. You will work full-time on one of several shifts: first shift (approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday), second shift (approximately 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Friday), or third shift (approximately 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Sunday night through Friday morning). The cleanroom requires appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including a gown, hair and/or beard net, surgical mask, gloves, and shoe covers. Certain items are not allowed in the cleanroom, including food, drinks, makeup, perfume or cologne, fake nails, earrings or other piercings, and pants that touch the ground. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blawnox, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
