12 hour Night Shift- Maintenance Technician!
Job Description
The Automation Maintenance Technician monitors and supports automated production equipment, assists with machinery tear down and reassembly, and learns core equipment technician practices under the guidance of a technician. This role combines mechanical and electrical aptitude to keep automation systems running reliably and safely in a clean room environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor internal equipment dashboards to track the status and performance of automated machinery and respond promptly to issues or alarms.
- Partner closely with a technician to learn equipment maintenance processes, troubleshooting methods, and basic equipment technician tactics.
- Support the tear down and reassembly of machinery to gain a deep understanding of equipment components and operation before performing repairs.
- Assist with machinery repair activities, including diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and helping implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to machinery installation tasks, helping set up, align, and commission new or relocated equipment.
- Perform or support preventive maintenance activities on automation equipment to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as part of daily maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Use schematics and other technical documentation to assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment problems.
- Support work on PLC-controlled equipment and three-phase electrical systems under appropriate guidance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with clean room protocols and facility procedures.
- Follow established safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while working on automated and robotic equipment.
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and other team members to share information, escalate complex issues, and support continuous improvement.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
