Shipping & Receiving Specialist
Location: Camp Hill, PA
Pay: $20/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overview:
Were hiring a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support daily outbound shipments in a fast-paced industrial warehouse. This role combines hands-on forklift work with shipping coordination and order processing.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and prepare outbound shipments (wire, cable, reels, pallets)
- Schedule pickups/deliveries with carriers (LTL, flatbed, truckload)
- Verify orders (part numbers, quantities, weights) before shipping
- Complete shipping paperwork (BOLs, packing slips, labels)
- Load/unload materials using forklift and warehouse equipment
- Pick, stage, and secure orders for shipment
- Maintain accurate records in inventory/ERP systems
- Inspect shipments for quality and damage
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of shipping/warehouse experience
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Experience with LTL/common carrier shipping
- Ability to handle heavy materials
- Basic computer skills (ERP/shipping systems a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
Additional:
- Industrial materials experience (wire, metal, building products) preferred
- Must follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camp Hill, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
