Job Description
This role supports a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing operation by performing a mix of inventory control, warehouse, and hands-on production and assembly tasks. You will help ensure parts are properly prepared, assemblies are completed accurately, and inventory is organized and available to meet production demands. The position offers opportunities to learn new skills in both manufacturing and warehouse environments while contributing directly to high-quality output.
Responsibilities
- Clean parts as needed to prepare them for production and assembly processes.
- Perform general production and assembly duties in a manufacturing environment.
- Support mechanical and electrical assembly tasks as required.
- Assist with quality control activities to ensure parts and assemblies meet standards.
- Work in the warehouse and inventory department when needed, including kitting components for production.
- Operate a forklift in the warehouse area, following all safety procedures.
- Handle production materials and components in a careful, organized, and efficient manner.
- Follow written and verbal work instructions with close attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area in both manufacturing and warehouse spaces.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and inventory goals.
- Adapt to changing priorities between assembly, production, and inventory tasks as needed.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large manufacturing facility that is very clean, well lit, and climate controlled, providing a comfortable and safe setting for both production and warehouse work. You will work around mechanical and electrical assembly operations, quality control activities, and inventory management processes. The environment includes use of standard manufacturing tools and equipment, as well as forklifts in the warehouse area. Shifts include a daylight schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and a second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with a shift differential provided for second shift. Overtime is mandatory on a lot of Saturdays, typically for about five hours. Dress is appropriate for a manufacturing setting, with adherence to safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
