Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will provide technical services within your area of specialization, ensuring operations and activities meet accuracy, completeness, and quality standards. You will work under the direction of a Functional Manager or Engineer, taking the lead on teams, processes, or projects within your authority. Your role involves directing parts and equipment processing, compiling records, creating charts, and communicating results. You will also be responsible for preparing composite reports and standardizing procedures to enhance efficiency, as well as addressing errors and complaints through corrective measures.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in your area of specialization.
- Oversee operations and activities to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Lead teams, processes, or projects within the scope of authority.
- Determine the sequence and manner of operations and processing.
- Direct the processing of parts and equipment.
- Compile and prepare records, charts, and communication of results.
- Prepare composite reports from subordinate reports.
- Study and standardize procedures for improved efficiency.
- Address errors and complaints, implementing corrective procedures.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in shop mathematics.
- Ability to interpret complicated drawings, specifications, and charts.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in automation and inspection.
- Quality assurance and quality control expertise.
- Knowledge of calipers and other inspection tools.
- Computer skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience with measuring instruments.

Work Environment
The work environment is semi-climate controlled and clean, providing a comfortable setting for all employees. Shifts are available on the 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm and the 2nd shift from 2pm-10:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Hanover, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.50/hr.
