Aston Carter is partnering with a leading financial services organization to hire an IT Procurement Specialist to support strategic sourcing initiatives across technology categories. This role plays a critical part in managing vendor relationships, driving cost savings, and leading end-to-end procurement activities for high-value engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing engagements for IT vendors, including software and services
- Develop and execute RFx processes (RFP, RFI, RFQ)
- Conduct competitive bidding and evaluate supplier proposals
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms for engagements typically exceeding $250K
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define requirements and sourcing strategies
- Collaborate with legal, vendor management, and risk teams to ensure compliance
- Support Category Leads on complex sourcing initiatives
- Maintain sourcing activity within procurement systems (Oracle preferred)
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and efficiency
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, or strategic sourcing
- Strong contract negotiation experience
- Hands-on experience managing RFx processes
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing engagements simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with Oracle or similar procurement/ERP systems
- Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule (combination of onsite and remote work)
- Standard business hours (Monday–Friday)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Malvern, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
