- Collaborate with team members, share ideas for improvement, and support a culture of continuous learning and safety.
- Maintain a neat, organized work area and demonstrate accountability and resourcefulness in all maintenance activities.
- 2–3 years of experience in the maintenance field, preferably in the woodworking or metalworking industry, or equivalent technical training from a maintenance-related technical institute.
- Strong overall machinery knowledge, including familiarity with single-phase and three-phase motors and basic industrial electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical maintenance and facilities maintenance.

- Goal-oriented mindset with a strong desire to continue learning and developing skills through additional training.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on doing tasks correctly and safely.
- Neat, organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and safety-minded approach to work.
- Graduate credentials from a technical institute related to maintenance are welcome, especially for individuals eager to build a long-term maintenance career.
- Experience with HVAC systems and general facilities maintenance.

- Willingness to become forklift and scissor lift certified.
- Comfort working in adverse conditions such as heat, cold, wind, rain, sleet, dust, foul odors, confined spaces, heights, dirt, grime, and grease.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and basic electrical issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a small to midsize plant environment and contribute to a collaborative, family-like culture.

The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with matching, health, dental, and life insurance, paid time off, employee discounts, a referral program, a retirement plan, and tuition reimbursement. This setting provides stability, work-life balance, and opportunities for ongoing training and skill development.
Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing plant that operates primarily on a first-shift schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with Fridays worked as needed, typically for a few hours in the early morning.
