Job Title: Sr Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr Geotechnical Engineer with a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and a PE License. With over 10 years of experience in the geotechnical industry, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical investigations and construction inspections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical reports, specifications, construction plans, and geotechnical recommendations.
• Develop proposals and coordinate projects, manage client relationships, and oversee billing processes.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and review work for staff members.
• Design support of excavation and conduct Plaxis 3D analysis.
• Log borings and perform observations during construction projects.
• Manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and project timelines.

Essential Skills

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE License.
• 10+ years of experience in the geotechnical industry.
• Proficiency in geotechnical investigations and construction inspections.
• Field experience in earthwork, driven and drilled pile construction, load testing, footings subgrade, backfill inspection, ground improvements, retaining wall design, and excavation support system design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Software proficiency in gINT, Slide/SLOPE/W, Plaxis, MSEW, SHAKE.

Work Environment
