Warehouse Kitting Associate
Location: Northeast Philadelphia Airport
Shift: 10AM - 6:00PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

Job Description
This position focuses on accurately pulling, kitting, and processing small helicopter and aircraft parts to support busy assembly lines in a large, regulated warehouse environment. You will manage incoming customer returns, verify detailed part information, and maintain precise inventory records using computer systems such as SAP and Microsoft Excel. The role requires consistent attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work on your feet throughout the shift while ensuring parts are handled and tracked correctly.
Responsibilities
- Pull, pick, and kit small helicopter and aircraft parts to support assembly line operations.
- Process customer returns of aircraft parts, ensuring accurate documentation and proper routing.
- Verify serial numbers and part numbers against paperwork, tags, warranty forms, and historical records.
- Perform serial number research using SAP and other internal systems to confirm part information.
- Enter, update, and track part and inventory data using Microsoft Excel and other computer tools.
- Conduct inventory control activities, including order picking, cycle counting, and stock verification.
- Handle documentation and records related to parts movement, returns, and inventory adjustments.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by identifying discrepancies and communicating issues promptly.
- Work on your feet throughout the shift in a warehouse setting, moving between different workstations.
- Follow safety procedures and warehouse best practices to protect personnel, equipment, and parts.
- Support shipping, receiving, and material handling activities as needed, including pallet and bin organization.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, customer support, and other warehouse functions to ensure smooth operations.
Essential Skills
- Previous warehouse experience in a production or distribution environment.
- Hands-on inventory control experience, including cycle counting and stock verification.
- Order picking and pulling experience in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to confidently use Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking.
- Exceptional attention to detail when verifying part and serial numbers and reviewing documentation.
- Ability to accurately verify and match part numbers and serial numbers against paperwork and records.
- Experience working with documentation, records, and inventory-related paperwork.
- General computer literacy and comfort navigating ERP or warehouse management systems.
- Ability to remain on your feet and work actively throughout the shift in a warehouse environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- SAP program experience or exposure to ERP systems is a plus.
- Experience handling aerospace, aviation, or manufacturing parts is highly beneficial.
- Experience in warehouse packing, inventory, picking orders, and warehouse production.
- Experience with material handling tools such as pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with RF scanners, shipping and receiving processes, and picking/packing workflows.
- Highly detail-oriented work history, particularly in inventory, order picking, and cycle counts.
- Prior experience in large, regulated warehouses or environments subject to audits and inspections.

Work Environment
This role is based in a large FAA-regulated warehouse responsible for housing helicopter parts, operating primarily between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The facility maintains a very clean environment due to regular FAA audits and inspections, and places strong emphasis on safety-conscious practices. You will work in a structured warehouse setting that supports production, procurement, customer support, customer property, and completions, using technologies such as SAP, ERP systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Excel. The work is active and performed mostly on your feet, involving movement throughout the warehouse, material handling, and close adherence to established procedures and safety standards.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
