What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and scheduled services.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Repair engines, brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and other vehicle systems.
- Follow service manuals and repair procedures to complete quality work.
- Test vehicles and make sure repairs are done correctly and safely.
- Document repairs, parts used, and recommended services.
- Keep the shop, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Work with team members to complete repairs on time.
- Assist with welding or fabrication projects when needed and qualified.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working on motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, or similar equipment.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of engines, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components.
- Ability to read service manuals and technical diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive in a busy shop.
Bonus Skills
- Technical school training or certification in motorcycle, powersports, or small engine repair.
- Experience with diagnostic software.
- Welding or fabrication experience.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

Work Environment
You'll work in a professional powersports repair shop servicing motorcycles, ATVs, and side-by-sides. This is a hands-on role that involves standing, bending, lifting, and using mechanical tools and equipment throughout the day. Safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship are top priorities.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerset, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
